You probably walk, or hike, or workout. Maybe you have some breathing techniques that help to relax you or you engage in yoga, Pilates, aerobics. Is there a specific diet or nutrition plan (vegan, vegetarian, etc.) that you follow? Do you read every evening before bed?
Most people have some kind of daily discipline that they stick with because of the benefits that it brings to them and for how it makes them feel by keeping with that particular daily practice.
In 2020, challenge yourself to look ahead and see clearly. Develop a daily practice that exercises your mind, and the power of thought.
Did you know that creative visualization is a technique that uses imagination to make dreams and goals come true.
Like yoga, or eating well, or hiking, used in the right ways, benefits will follow. Creative visualization will improve your life and attract to you success and prosperity, if used in the best ways possible.
Creative visualization is a power that can alter your environment and circumstances, cause events to happen, and attract money, possessions, work, people and love into your life.
By visualizing a certain event, situation, or an object, you attract it into your life. It is a process that is similar to daydreaming. For some people, this might look like magic, but there is no magic involved, only the natural process of the power of thought and the laws of nature.
There are people who use this technique naturally in their everyday affairs, not being aware that they are tapping into this power that all humans have. Looking at the lists of successful people as we know them to be by societal standards - the all use it consciously or unconsciously, attracting the successes they want into their life, by visualizing their goals as if it is already accomplished and already theirs.
Oprah Winfrey, Bill Gates, Larry Page, Andrew Carnegie, Arnold Schwartzenegger, Will Smith, Kerri Walsh & Misty-May Treanor.
How Does It Work?
The subconscious mind accepts the thoughts that we often repeat and changes our mindset accordingly, as well as our habits and actions.
New actions, new habits, and a changed mindset, bring a person forward into contact with new people, new situations and new circumstances that tend to help achieve the goals one has been thinking about.
Thoughts are endowed with a creative power that mold life, and attracts us to what we think about.
Thoughts travel from one mind to another, and if they are strong enough, they can be unconsciously picked up by people, who are in a position to help you achieve your desires and goals.
The same Omnipotent Power that has created the universe created us and therefore, we participate in the process of creation. Bearing this thought in mind, there is no wonder that thoughts will materialize.
Stop for a moment and think about the power of that - You are an indivisible part of this great Universal Power!
Thought is energy, especially a focused thought, soaked with emotional energy. Thoughts change the balance of energy around us, and bring changes to the environment in accordance with them. Most people think and repeat certain thoughts quite often. They focus their thoughts on their current environment, circumstances and situation, and therefore, create and recreate the same sort of events, environments and circumstances.
In Eureka Springs, we are surrounded by the beauty of nature and history. Inspiration Point is an ideal place to take time to be with one's own thoughts and practice creative visualization.
When you only focus on the current environment, circumstances and situation it is just like watching the same film over and again. But, every single person has the power to change the film they are watching over and over again by simply changing their thoughts and visualizing forward to the different circumstances and situations that they truly desire.
This is powerful and if done consistently well may change events, circumstances, environments and even reality.
Steps to manifest your desires:
Define your goal.
Think, meditate and listen to your intuition, to make sure that you really desire to attain this goal.
Ascertain that only good will result from your visualization, for you and for others.
Sit alone in a quiet place, where you will not be disturbed.
Relax your body.
Breathe rhythmically and deeply several times.
Visualize a clear and detailed mental image of what you desire to get or accomplish.
In your imagination, use all the five senses of sight, hearing, touch, smell and taste.
Add desire and feelings into what your mental image.
Visualize at least twice a day, about 10 minutes each time.
Persevere with your visualization, day after day, with patience, hope and faith.
Strive to stay positive, both in thoughts and feelings, and also when you speak.
During the day, when negative thoughts and doubts arise, replace them with positive thoughts. Tip: As each negative thought enters your mind, immediately substitute it with a positive thought.
Keep an open mind, so that you recognize opportunities and take advantage of them.
After concluding your visualization session, say attentively and earnestly, "Let everything happen in a harmonious and favorable way for all involved."
Keep an open mind for ideas, intuition and opportunities. Creative visualization will open doors, but often, you will have to walk in and take action.
Whenever you can, take action. Don't be passive, waiting for things to happen by themselves.
Step 17. is the step that most people do not do well. They fail to take action inspired by their new thoughts and new reality. They wait for things to happen but this is not how this works.
When you're inspired to do so, take action.
Our thoughts and feelings, and the mental images we carry in our minds, affect our lives. By changing them, we change our life.
Be careful of what you think and how you allow yourself to feel, otherwise you might attract situations that you do not really want. It is always better to think and consistently visualize only what it is that you truly want.
As with any daily discipline, approach this mental work with a positive attitude and faith, and don't get discouraged if you cannot visualize at the beginning. As with most things, give it time and you will become better at this.
