Mardi Gras in Eureka Springs!

Just when you thought it was time to hibernate in Eureka Springs, the Krewe of Krazo presents two months of 2019 Mardi Gras Events from Costume Balls, Parades, Cajun Food and more...

Mardi Gras, as many know, means Fat Tuesday as introduced to the world by The French, which resulted in carnival events that originated in Mobile, Alabama and spread to New Orleans, Louisiana and today still exists in many cities.

The first Mardi Gras occurrence in Eureka Springs was in 1907 with a parade and two balls. Eureka Gras was founded in 2005 by Hurricane Katrina transplants to Eureka Springs and has now grown to a 5-state regional Mardi Gras with over 14 events throughout January, February and into March.

Come join the crazy Krewe of Krazo and the locals here in the beautiful Victorian town of Eureka Springs, AR nestled in the midst of the Ozark Mountains.
