While Eureka Springs is renowned for our Dicken's-like holiday magic, there’s another seasonal celebration that deserves a spot on your calendar — Eureka Springs Mardi Gras — or as the local's sometimes call it: "Eureka Gras!"

What does this mean?
Think flamboyant, rich colors, luxurious fabrics, and intricate details. Traditional Venetian masquerade masks are, of course, essential, providing the perfect air of mystery and elegance. Let your creativity shine – embellish your mask with feathers, sparkling accents, and dramatic makeup to complete your uniquely Eurekan look and style.
For inspiration, consider the grandeur of Renaissance nobles. Elegant gowns and suits, adorned with high collars, puffy sleeves, and rich textures! Any (or all) of this would be stunning.

A steampunk twist on the Venetian theme could be incredibly striking. Think gears, goggles, and repurposed materials ... all of this brings a unique blend of historic charm and futuristic flair.
The possibilities are endless! Let your imagination run wild as you craft a costume truly capturing the spirit of this 2026 Eureka Gras season, which happens to be our 21st Anniversary Season.
