Blog Series | Eureka! Finding Our Hidden Gems | The Stonehouse

If there is one lovely "hidden gem" to visit when visiting beautiful Eureka Springs, Arkansas, it's The Stonehouse.

The Stonehouse is owned and operated by locals Rob and Amanda and it is located at 82 S. Main St, Eureka Springs, AR 72632. Essentially, just as you're coming into downtown Eureka Springs, it's right there on the left side of Main Street.

This labor of love for Rob and Amanda has turned into something spectacular for locals and tourists alike. The Stonehouse sign describes the core values of the experience as WINE, CHEESE & CONVERSATION and it certainly does not disappoint on all three.

The Stonehouse offers ambiance (inside and out), exceptional meat and cheese board selections, top of the line wine selections, art, music and all-around really good local vibe.

When you're here you might engage in conversation with Rob, Amanda or one of their talented and friendly staffers, or you may find yourself pensive enjoying the art or just sipping wine and listening to the great tunes or chatting with some friendly, regular customers.

On wonderful weather days, the patio is the place to be. It offers a lush, cozy space as you are surrounded by the natural rocks of Eureka Springs. The patio has a small stage for live musicians which often adorn The Stonehouse during the 9-month peak season - Spring, Summer & Fall.

Funny enough, this place is mostly popular when they are OPEN - and that is only Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. It makes sense really, as that is when most of the visitors are in town, so be sure to stop by and indulge, you will not be disappointed.

With winter soon to arrive, The Stonehouse will still operate and since Winter in Eureka Springs is hibernation season The Stonehouse adjusts their hours to winter hours ... so please be sure to check their Facebook Page for more information on local hours before you attempt to make an appearance.

Lonely Planet touts The Stonehouse as a "Top choice for modern American in Eureka Springs."
